Sitting within the Grocery Category Team, the Category Manager will be responsible for leading the category management strategy within the chosen account base, highlighting growth opportunities and identifying business targets. You will take responsibility for specific category and NPD projects, as well as the management and development of a Category Executive. As an integral partner to internal sales teams, you will play a pivotal part in strengthening category influence and relationships across the Business Unit and the chosen accounts.
Educated to degree or equivalent level, the successful individual will have demonstrable experience of category or customer management within an FMCG environment. You must be comfortable with listening to and influencing at all levels, whilst possessing excellent presentation and analytical skills. The successful individual will be able to coach and develop people, although previous man-management is not essential
