Our client is a major global FMCG business with a diverse portfolio of instantly recognisable brands across the UK and international markets. In recent years the business has been heralded for its innovative NPD and marketing campaigns and is considered a leader in its approach to category management.
Reporting to and with support from the Category Manager, the Category Executive will be responsible for providing essential customer, category and shopper insight to further develop category relationships with the chosen account base. You will be expected to lead and influence external customer teams to ensure range changes provide targeted range and space growth, and will work closely with the Category Manager in providing strategic direction for internal sales teams.
The successful individual will be highly numerate and possess excellent analytical and presentation skills. You must be equally comfortable with analysing a wide range of data, trends and events to generate insights, coupled with the ability to listen and influence at varying levels. Previous experience of space planning software within a category or customer management environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
