-Category Development with customers. Planning and implementation of Category Strategy right the way through to POP.
-Work closely with Shopper colleagues and final selling to implement plans
- Tailoring of Category Strategy with customer.
-Set up and implement category testing and trial initiatives including customer interface, analysis and monitoring.
Involvement and delivery of successful Range Review process with customers:
-Analysis, presentation and delivery and execution.
-Defence plans for delists.
- Post Range Review analysis
-Generic Merchandising – generic plannograms, Share of shelf review, fair share analysis
NPD
- Prioritisation of NPD
- Review and tailor NPD plans
Ensure alignment with Commercial Calendar
-Make sure all account plans are aligned to Commercial calendar
Involvement and delivery of 3 year Category Plans
-Delivery of Category Account 3 year plans embedded within customer plans
-Update plans and strategy
Project focus – inc deep dives into promotions, underperforming segments, formats
Trade Days delivery
-Delivery of trade days for all prioritised customers
Execute contact plan in alignment with overall account contact strategy
-Facilitate Category relationship with all prioritised accounts
-Develop & influence senior customer relationships & understand customer dynamics to ensure best forward plan for ROI, to drive category growth
Use Insight to deliver against objectives
-Integrating Market Insight
-Understand Data Sources
- Monitoring, evaluating and analysing customer performance against our competitive set and categories through monthly/ quarterly customer reports
- Being at the forefront of competitor intelligence.
-Account and Category performance sent to buyers
-Review category performance with buyers every quarter
-Feed in account performance as part of Business Unit meetings
-Account specific insights / format specific insights
-Use of loyalty card data
