NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
Our client sits firmly within the FMCG sector and are category leaders with some well known and popular brands. This is a business that is going through an exciting period of change which includes significant investment as it recognises that to grow they must constantly evolve their offering. They are currently looking for a National Account Manager, an individual who has the capability to transform their business and in return, they believe the can offer opportunities that will transform careers.
As National Account Manager you’ll be responsible for leading the key interface between the company and customer as well as delivering sales, profit and development of the account. You’ll be responsible for forecast accuracy and the successful delivery of the annual sales plan. You’ll evaluate promotional ROI, and agree and implement the promotional plan within your budget. Furthermore you will be called upon to develop and recommend account strategies and tactics to maximise the sales and gross profit for your customer. There will be daily interaction with other functions within the business as you will also be part of a cross functional aiming to deliver customer intimacy. This is a demanding role which requires drive, ambition and enthusiasm to succeed.

The successful candidate will have;
- Previous Account Manager experience within a branded FMCG business
- Demonstrated understanding of category management process
- Experience of JBP negotiation and price increases
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Experience of working in cross functional teams
- Collaborative team player.
