Our client is a supplier of innovative menu solutions from around the world to the UK & European Foodservice markets.
Driven by a passion for good food, they use their global sourcing experience and in-house chef expertise to meet the demands of today’s discerning customers, providing quality menu solutions, with both bespoke and branded products.
Due to significant continuous growth, our client is looking to identify a Channel Controller to join the business in this new role, heading up the Foodservice channel. With an existing team of experienced account managers already in situ, this role will be all about harnessing both the business opportunities and the capability of the team.
With a background in food solutions, you’ll have demonstrable experience of successfully coaching and managing a team to its full potential. Motivational, supportive, trustworthiness and empowering, is how our client would define the effective leadership style they are looking for in this role. You’ll demonstrate a strong sales and commercial background, with evidence of creating winning propositions, managing and growing strategic accounts and delivering new business wins – with the proven ability to get things done.
As a minimum requirement you’ll require the following:
- Extensive food service experience
- Experience of managing complex customers
- Trading experience as SNAM/Controller level
- Extensive commercial experience
- Experience of working in complex internal teams
- Man-management experience
- Resilience, drive & results orientation
- Leadership & gravitas
